Finns love their berries almost as much as they love silence. Wild raspberries (vadelma) grow in sunny forest clearings across Finland, delivering bright, juicy sweetness with a gentle tart edge that cuts through heavy Nordic dishes like a polite but firm handshake.

We took those sun-ripened raspberries and introduced them to red Habanero — in a small-batch hot sauce that’s equal parts summer picnic and spontaneous combustion.

Vadelmaliekit explodes with vivid raspberry fruitiness up front, followed by the signature sweet-tropical Habanero heat that builds fast and lingers like an uninvited relative who refuses to leave. The berries tame the extreme heat just enough to let the flavour shine, while the Habanero ensures that the silence continues at the table.

It’s the sauce that turns boring grilled chicken into a fireworks show, makes cheese boards dangerous, and gives the blandest Finnish nakki sausage a deliciously evil twist.
